I was just thinking about a Limblifter concert I went to back in 96. It was probably one of the best concerts I have ever went to. It was the first time I ever tried mushrooms and only the second time I had even been to a rock concert. But this is not the only reason I remember it. The Smalls and Limblifter was opening for 5440 at the Okanagan Music Festival in Penticton. I was in the front row high on mushrooms and had just finished getting shoved around in a mosh pit during The Smalls set. I was looking forward to 5440 but had seen them before at my first concert I had been too. But when Limblifter started playing on stage I remember the songs and the sound of the music really got my attention and stood out for me. There was something about the song writing that was unique. I became a fan of Ryan Dahle at that concert and it is good to see that he is still making music.
